A retrospective of ten films by AGNIESZKA HOLLAND opened at the Museum of the Moving Image in New York on June 7.
“The Museum of the Moving Image is proud to pay tribute to her uncompromising career by presenting a diverse selection of her greatest works, including early, rarely screened gems and recent films that demonstrate her unwavering ability to portray historical trauma and human struggle with sensitivity and compassion.” – writes David Hudson in The Criterion Collection.

Agnieszka Holland will join the event in person on June 20 and 21 with her films Europa Europa and The Secret Garden.
The program is co-curated by MoMI film curator Eric Hynes and Tom Smolarski, Curator of Film and Performing Arts at the Polish Cultural Institute in New York.
