AGNIESZKA HOLLAND a guest at “Polish Perspectives” in Berlin. | 15.05.2025

On Saturday, April 5, 2025, the Akademie der Künste in Berlin hosted the “Polish Perspectives” conference on transformations in Polish cultural life. AGNIESZKA HOLLAND was the guest of the event. The event was organized by the European Alliance of Academies on the occasion of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU. The program included speeches by prominent artists, intellectuals and leaders of cultural institutions from Poland and Germany, literary and film presentations as well as debates devoted to changes in the Polish cultural and artistic landscape, the impact of political changes on creative freedom and the role of women in political and cultural transformation.
The meeting is organized in cooperation with the Polish Institute in Berlin and supported by the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation, the Daniel Chodowiecki Foundation, the Goethe-Institut in Warsaw, Villa Decius in Krakow and the European Film Academy.
