“Easterngate” is a thriller that delves into the world of modern spies during growing conflict and international unrest. It paints a vivid picture of the world of secret services, while exploring the personal struggles of an individual trapped in the secret service network. The plot centers on the story of Ewa Oginiec, who seeks to leave the secret service to start a new life. Unfortunately, her partner disappears after she is unmasked by Russian special services.
Shooting for the series began in March of this year. The plot is set in spring 2021 in Belarus, Poland and Russia.
