Netflix has shared the first images from the highly anticipated second season of 1670, a production that fans across the country have come to love. We can see that the image of the harsh countryside, full of mud and gray, known from the first installment of the series, is changing. Adamczycha is now bathed in sunlight, and the fields are gilded with whatever begins with “ż” and rules the land. It seems that ever since Andrew lost his estate and the village became entirely owned by John Paul, summer has come to Adamczycha. Coincidence?
The action of the second season takes place in summer and is a continuation of the story we followed in the first part, so we are still in 1670,” says Maciej Buchwald, director of the 1670 series. ”All of us working on the series felt that people loved the direction we were going, so we can go even further and bolder. We feel the space to surprise even more, to make the new season even more epic, touching, funny, even more “1670.”
I feel that while in the first season we only outlined this world, in the second season we are expanding it significantly, and I think this will be evident. Of course, Adamchacha and her main characters still play the most important role, but we are also in new places, there is much more action and new characters appear as well,” reveals 1670’s originator and screenwriter, Jakub Ruzullo.
