POLITYKA’s Passport in the film category was awarded to KAMILA TARABURA.

For a consistently presented and convincing picture of the process of working through trauma and fascinating portraits of women in crisis. – Oh mom, I didn’t think it would be so emotional. Thank you for this award, honor and commitment,” said Kamila Tarabura from the stage.
MAREK KOTERSKI with the title of Creator of Culture, a special award of “Polityka”!
– I feel honored, I did not expect this award,” Marek Koterski said from the stage. – When I think that for my debut I received a failing grade at the Ministry…. For the second film (“Internal Life”) – already three minus. For the third film, “Porno”, I was told that a zero would be too much. Years passed, “Groundhog Day” was made. I heard that we do not need heroes like Adaś Miauczyński, losers, but rather successful people. And now what, and now I experience the love of the audience. I can only say to all creators – which will sound coquettish, but I don’t feel particularly gifted – that it’s worth it to be true to the dream, to listen first of all to yourself, to your convictions, to your feelings. Let them beat you over the head with a baseball – but do your own thing.
