The action of the second season of Profilerka moves to Northern Kashubia. The main character, Julia Wigier, arrives in Gdynia—the city where she was born and where, as a child, she witnessed her mother’s murder. The profiler returns to finally solve the mystery of her death and confront the murderer.
Once there, she discovers previously unknown details about her mother’s life. She realizes that Kalina Barska was the subject of interest of the Security Service, and that the authorities made every effort to ensure that the truth about her murder never came to light. Were members of the security apparatus behind her death?
Meanwhile, serial killer Olgierd Woliński, who was apprehended by the police, has escaped from the hospital in Augustów and remains at large. Despite the passage of nine months, investigators have still not managed to locate his hideout. A special team is being formed at the Capital Police Headquarters to capture the criminal. It is headed by Commissioner Karol Nadzieja, who recently returned from Augustów. Julia and Karol are once again faced with a challenge – they must capture the “serial killer.”
