LARP. Love, Trolls and Other Quests is a hilarious tale of adolescence, school, first love and a certain unique hobby. Full of action and humor, the comedy tells the story of a teenage technical school student, misunderstood by his family and persecuted by his peers because of his passion for fantasy and… playing elves in LARP (live action role-playing) games.
LARP is an off-road version of RPGs, where participants collaboratively create and experience stories under the sign of magic and sword, playing the roles of their choice. In this amazing, invented world, Sergius (Filip Zaręba) is a true hero – manly, brave, invincible. In the real world – not necessarily anymore. The boy’s situation becomes even more complicated when a new student appears at the technical school – beautiful Helena (Martyna Byczkowska), with whom Sergiusz falls in love at first sight. Unfortunately, the girl begins to mate with a group of popular students. Sergius feels that in a clash with school trolls he has little chance of winning Helena’s heart. Everything changes when he unexpectedly discovers the teenager’s secret, and a famous best-selling author (Bartłomiej Topa) comes to town.
The film is scheduled for release on October 17.
