“Wielka Warszawska” the shooting has begun! | 08.08.2024
Wielka Warszawska is a story about a young jockey, (played by TOMASZ ZIĘTEK) who dreams of a sports career. The crowning achievement of these dreams is to participate in the most important race in Poland – the Great Warsaw Race. The main character naively believes that in horse racing the best wins. Only after some time does he find out that there is a lot of corruption and foul play in this environment, and the races are a network of dependencies, powerful interests and manipulation of the results. Will he get out of this with a better hand?
The film is directed by Bartlomiej Ignaciuk.
The cast will also include MIROSŁAW KROPIELNICKI, among others!
Cinematography by KLAUDIUSZ DWULIT.
The film is scheduled for release in 2025.
