TVP is working on a new spy series entitled Wojna zastępcza directed by Denis Delić. The production tells the story of young agents who begin their dangerous activities in 1991 – at the time of Poland’s great political transformation.
The main roles are played by MATEUSZ WIĘCŁAWEK and PIOTR WITKOWSKI, among others. The cast also includes MIROSŁAW HANISZEWSKI.
The main characters – Artur (Mateusz Więcławek), Zuza (Waleria Gorobets), Budyń (Piotr Witkowski) and Gutek (Karol Bernacki) – meet at the most prestigious spy school in Poland, located in Kiejkuty. Although they are not typical candidates for agents – neither of them has military experience – they were chosen for their unique talents and personality traits. The decision to recruit them was made by their mentor and new head of the State Protection Office, Sadowski (Miroslaw Haniszewski).
