This Friday, April 12, the Ateneum Theater will host the premiere of Stanislaw Ignacy Witkiewicz’s “Matka” (directed by Anna Augustynowicz).

“AGATA KULESZA will play the role of Janina Węgorzewska, a blind woman who wastes her time knitting and supports herself with various substances… She is also trying to arrange relations with her son Leon (Adam Cywka), a home-grown artist and philosopher. The atmosphere thickens, the tension grows until the hard-to-predict yet inevitable end.”
